About the role

In this role you will primarily work within the kitchen area, where you will be responsible for undertaking various tasks to assist the Chef/Night Cook Baker with preparing and delivering a full meal service to our clients and customers. Duties consist of assisting the cooking and preparation or food, assisting with meal service, washing dishes and other work related to the galley or kitchen.

As an integral member of the catering service team, you will also contribute to the provision of quality laundry, accommodation, messroom and janitorial services adhering to health and safety at all times.

Applicants should have undertaken the following training and obtained the relevant certificates:

  • BOSIET (HUET)
  • STCW
