Giving Back has always been at the heart of our activity - we couldn't imagine running our business without doing so. We fundraise for initiatives that help build inclusive, safe and thriving communities, and provide access to resources and opportunities that empower people and families around us.

Giving Back is also a part of our global ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) action.

Throughout the years we have been supporting various initiatives that are particularly close to our hearts

Concordia- Entier and Seacrest Maritime Outreach Programme

Our commitment to investing in the communities where we operate extends far beyond local boundaries. Partnering with Seacrest Maritime, we've contributed to an impactful outreach programme dedicated to fostering hope and nourishment for children in need.

Through this ongoing partnership with Seacrest Maritime, we have been taken across oceans to the Philippines, where Concordia Children's Services stands as a beacon of care and support for underprivileged children. With our support of the outreach programme, we were able to facilitate the provision of essential necessities such as fruits, vegetables, meat, clothing, and books to Concordia Children's Services. By supplying these fundamental elements, we aimed to enhance their well-being and create an environment where they can thrive.

CALD Squad Sponsorship, Australian and Indigenous Athletics Programme

Meet Lindsay Bunn, an esteemed athletics coach from Western Australia and the driving force behind the CALD program, which Entier proudly sponsors. Lindsay has devoted his life to fostering the growth of athletics within the Indigenous community and promoting diverse participation across the region. His tireless dedication has transformed countless lives and earned him the prestigious Peter Norman Humanitarian Award in 2020.

Lindsay's journey began in the working-class suburb of Balga, Perth, where he initiated a program to provide opportunities for Indigenous and refugee youth to engage in athletics. Using his own resources, he founded the CALD Squad, a program that extends beyond athletic training to offer personal tutoring and comprehensive care for those in need. Lindsay's dedication goes beyond coaching; he provides 24/7 counselling and support, often responding to crises during the early hours. His personal investment covers essential expenses such as food, school fees, books, and dental care.

Testimonials

"VSA is delighted to have partnered with Entier during our landmark 150th year of supporting vulnerable people throughout Aberdeen. Our 150th-anniversary tea party day in March 2020 was a huge success, with Entier’s various sites throughout the city raising over an incredible £3000 towards our Changing Lives Campaign. With 1 in 3 adults in Aberdeen alone being diagnosed with a mental health condition, our Changing Lives campaign is focused on the build of a new £3.2 million, 20 bedroom mental health facility in the heart of Aberdeen. The facility will provide vital support to people living with a range of mental health conditions, empowering them to take control of their lives through our highly regarded recovery model and specialised mental wellbeing support staff, We are extremely grateful to Entier staff for their ongoing support, despite the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. With further activity planned for the year ahead, VSA is proud to be changing lives together with Entier."

"It is tremendous to have Entier partnering with us so generously in our milestone 20th year. The 20 for 20 Anchor Voyage has captivated the imaginations of people right across the North-east and Northern Isles. With Entier’s anchor out on location in Shetland for the summer it was so lovely of Peter and Fiona to make the journey up to the Island to see their anchor in its stunning location. On behalf of Friends of ANCHOR, I want to say a huge thank-you for your passionate support which is making an impact for North-east cancer patients in this generation, and the generations to come."

"I’m extremely grateful to Entier for their support of the Paul Lawrie Foundation. It is important to me to know that we have the backing of businesses operating in Aberdeen & the North East of Scotland, and in the case of Entier, a company founded and headquartered here. One of our key goals with the Foundation has always been to ensure that the kids within the North East of Scotland have opportunities to learn, enjoy and improve at golf and it is made possible thanks to this kind of sponsorship."

Paul Lawrie

“We are hugely appreciative of the fundraising efforts of Entier and their customers, who have been supporting Macmillan since 2009, primarily through their active participation in our annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at sites both on and offshore. The thousands of pounds raised have and will continue to make a difference to the growing number of people living with cancer, which is now almost one in two of us at some point in our lifetime.”

MACMILLAN CANCER RESEARCH

“We are incredibly grateful for the support that Entier has provided us with, not just in terms of the Christmas-themed meals that have been donated, but also for the food donations we receive throughout the year.

Eating a meal is not just about getting the vital nutrition that the body needs, but is also about coming together to enjoy the company of others. So there’s a really important social aspect as well as a dietary one.

This time of year can be an exceptionally challenging time, so to be able to offer a number of our service the chance to sit down inside and enjoy a hot meal with friends is a great thing to be able to do.”

ABERDEEN CYRENNIANS

"We are thrilled that Entier has raised a staggering £20,066 to name two guide dog puppies: Olive and Oliver. Each guide dog costs £56,800 from breeding to retirement. Oliver moved on to advanced training at Forfar Training school in January where we hope he will soon be matched with a visually impaired person. Olive is currently still with her puppy walker getting as many new experiences as possible so she will be ready for what might lie ahead in her role as a guide dog. We rely on donations to keep our life-changing services running and without the support of local businesses like Entier, there would be no Guide Dogs. The money raised will help us make a real difference to people in Scotland who are living with sight loss and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Entier for their generosity."

GUIDE DOGS SCOTLAND

"Entier already supports homeless people in Aberdeen by delivering food on a weekly basis to local charity Aberdeen Cyrenians, and is took part in Sleep In The Park 2018 to build on its existing efforts.

Peter Bruce, Entier’s CEO is one of the team sleeping out in Duthie Park. He said: “By donating in-date food to Aberdeen Cyrenians we are helping a number of people less fortunate than ourselves get a nutritious meal, while also reducing food waste.

“Taking part in this year’s Sleep In The Park event will give us the opportunity to do even more to help the homeless both locally and across Scotland.

“The number of people currently living on the streets in this country is both shocking and unacceptable. We want to do what we can to help change that.”

Josh Littlejohn, Social Bite, said: “We we are hugely encouraged that so many businesses and individuals across Scotland have chosen to support the event and the cause, both by taking part and through fundraising.”

Headquartered in Edinburgh, Social Bite runs a chain of cafés and restaurants throughout Scotland, employing more than 100 people, many of whom have struggled with homelessness. It is the largest distributor of free, fresh food to the homeless in the UK giving out over 100,000 items of food and hot drinks per year.

Established in 2008 and employing 591 people, Entier is Scotland’s largest independent, privately-owned catering company, operating across 22 countries."
