Friends of Anchor Masked Ball 2019
Entier were delighted to be sponsors of a charity so close to our hearts. A wonderful evening was had by all, and a huge Thank you goes out to the Friends of Anchor for organising yet another memorable evening
VSA is delighted to have partnered with Entier during our landmark 150th year of supporting vulnerable people throughout Aberdeen. Our 150th-anniversary tea party day in March 2020 was a huge success, with Entier’s various sites throughout the city raising over an incredible £3000 towards our Changing Lives Campaign.
With 1 in 3 adults in Aberdeen alone being diagnosed with a mental health condition, our Changing Lives campaign is focused on the build of a new £3.2 million, 20 bedroom mental health facility in the heart of Aberdeen. The facility will provide vital support to people living with a range of mental health conditions, empowering them to take control of their lives through our highly regarded recovery model and specialised mental wellbeing support staff,
We are extremely grateful to Entier staff for their ongoing support, despite the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. With further activity planned for the year ahead, VSA is proud to be changing lives together with Entier.Antony Ritchie - Corporate Fundraiser VSA
“We are thrilled that Entier has raised a staggering £20,066 to name two guide dog puppies: Olive and Oliver. Each guide dog costs £56,800 from breeding to retirement. Oliver moved on to advanced training at Forfar Training school in January where we hope he will soon be matched with a visually impaired person. Olive is currently still with her puppy walker getting as many new experiences as possible so she will be ready for what might lie ahead in her role as a guide dog. We rely on donations to keep our life-changing services running and without the support of local businesses like Entier, there would be no Guide Dogs. The money raised will help us make a real difference to people in Scotland who are living with sight loss and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Entier for their generosity."Andrea Williams, Community Fundraiser for Guide Dogs Scotland
Entier have been supporting the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation for 9 years providing the nourishment to see the families taking part in the annual “One Walk” event.

Friends of Anchor
It is tremendous to have Entier partnering with us so generously in our milestone 20th year. The 20 for 20 Anchor Voyage has captivated the imaginations of people right across the North-east and Northern Isles. With Entier’s anchor out on location in Shetland for the summer it was so lovely of Peter and Fiona to make the journey up to the Island to see their anchor in its stunning location. On behalf of Friends of ANCHOR, I want to say a huge thank-you for your passionate support which is making an impact for North-east cancer patients in this generation, and the generations to come.Sarah-Jane Hogg, PR & Fundraising Manager, Friends of ANCHOR
Paul Lawrie Foundation
I’m extremely grateful to Entier for their support of the Paul Lawrie Foundation. It is important to me to know that we have the backing of businesses operating in Aberdeen & the North East of Scotland, and in the case of Entier, a company founded and headquartered here. One of our key goals with the Foundation has always been to ensure that the kids within the North East of Scotland have opportunities to learn, enjoy and improve at golf and it is made possible thanks to this kind of sponsorship
Bucksburn and District Pipe Band
Since our performance at the SHINE awards evening at the Marcliffe Hotel earlier this year where Peter and the team at Entier kindly sponsored the band we have had one of the more successful pipe band seasons in 11 years.
Throughout the season both our Novice Juvenile and Grade 2 bands made huge progress with trophies won at major championships. Novice Juvenile band finished in 3rd place at the world pipe band championships where the drum corps finished as world and champion of champions, a great achievement from our junior members.
Entier sponsorship has contributed to the bands success this season and will continue to do this during the hard winter months where their funding will be used for further education and development. Our junior members are already working towards SQA BDQB piping and drumming qualification levels and will be assessed by the Royal Pipe Band association in December.
Good luck to our junior members with good wished and thanks to Entier for their amazing supportGus McAskill, Band President
I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I was diagnosed with MND. I couldn’t think of a better way to have celebrated getting to my four year diagnosed milestone than a charity ball. It was an amazing night, filled both with laughter and tears. I feel so lucky to have had the support of Entier over the last four years and especially at my ball. Thank you for always fighting beside me.
Macmillan Cancer Support
“We are hugely appreciative of the fundraising efforts of Entier and their customers, who have been supporting Macmillan since 2009, primarily through their active participation in our annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at sites both on and offshore. The thousands of pounds raised have and will continue to make a difference to the growing number of people living with cancer, which is now almost one in two of us at some point in our lifetime.”Isla Dewar, Area Fundraising Manager, North Scotland
“We are incredibly grateful for the support that Entier has provided us with, not just in terms of the Christmas-themed meals that have been donated, but also for the food donations we receive throughout the year.
“Eating a meal is not just about getting the vital nutrition that the body needs, but is also about coming together to enjoy the company of others. So there’s a really important social aspect as well as a dietary one.
“This time of year can be an exceptionally challenging time, so to be able to offer a number of our service the chance to sit down inside and enjoy a hot meal with friends is a great thing to be able to do.”Kate Loades Fundraising Manager
Entier already supports homeless people in Aberdeen by delivering food on a weekly basis to local charity Aberdeen Cyrenians, and is took part in Sleep In The Park 2018 to build on its existing efforts.
Peter Bruce, Entier’s CEO is one of the team sleeping out in Duthie Park. He said: “By donating in-date food to Aberdeen Cyrenians we are helping a number of people less fortunate than ourselves get a nutritious meal, while also reducing food waste.
“Taking part in this year’s Sleep In The Park event will give us the opportunity to do even more to help the homeless both locally and across Scotland.
“The number of people currently living on the streets in this country is both shocking and unacceptable. We want to do what we can to help change that.”
Josh Littlejohn, Social Bite, said: “We we are hugely encouraged that so many businesses and individuals across Scotland have chosen to support the event and the cause, both by taking part and through fundraising.”
Headquartered in Edinburgh, Social Bite runs a chain of cafés and restaurants throughout Scotland, employing more than 100 people, many of whom have struggled with homelessness. It is the largest distributor of free, fresh food to the homeless in the UK giving out over 100,000 items of food and hot drinks per year.
