Food Service Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for Food Service Assistants to join our growing Entier global family.
These roles are created due to a new opportunity with our client BAM (known as EGL2). BAM are based in the outskirts of Boddum, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire where Entier will provide a catering service to the personnel onsite within the welfare facility.
Key Points For This Position
- Permanent Position
- Hourly Rate – £12.97
- 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm
Main responsibilities of the role are:
- Assist with the preparation of services offer and the serving of all meals and branded beverages to customers, always ensuring great customer service.
- Using the EPOS till, serve customers and cash up at the end of service.
- Ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy, assisting with waste removal and washing up.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are always followed
- Complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, wastage and cleaning schedules
- Assisting in the effective management of stock and portion control.
- Assist with stores and deliveries when arrive in a prompt manner.
- Be able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within a fast-paced catering environment is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated team player with a can-do attitude
