Chef/ Cook Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Chef / Cook Supervisor to join our growing Entier global family. Due to location of the site, this position would suit someone who holds a driving licence.
The hours for this position are as follows:
Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
We offer an excellent salary of £37.342.95 per annum.
This position is created due to a new opportunity with our client BAM who are based in site at Green’s Aberdeenshire, where Entier will provide a catering service to the personnel onsite.
Initially, the service will be catered via a food truck, therefore this role is suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced environment, takes pride in their catering skills, adapting and ensuring food service is provide onsite for service and can confidently work independently. You should be confident making decisions, solving problems quickly and adapting when necessary. Once the facility is fully operational the service will transfer to catering modules at the site with a fully functional kitchen for the staff welfare facility
As a Chef / Cook Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional standard of catering, working in line with our company standards and values. You will ensure a hygienic environment for all food preparation and service, ensuring that daily/monthly due diligence records are accurately kept up to date. Furthermore, you will be required to effectively always manage and ensure strict compliance with HACCP and COSHH regulations.
Main responsibilities of the role are:
- To ensure the preparation of a high quality breakfast service within the food truck, utilising only the freshest ingredients available.
- Variety of the offer is prepared off-site and delivered daily for the Chef Supervisor to reheat and present each items safely and efficiently and in a timely manner ready for service.
- Prepare, cook and present food to the highest standards whilst maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and health and safety around the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure stock holding is managed effectively, conducting monthly stock takes and correct deliveries are accepted and ensuring all orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain correct food storage procedures and ensuring all items are accurately labelled in accordance with procedures.
- Consistently upholding food preparation and cleaning service standards, ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly
- Ensuring the food truck site remains fully operational, clean, well-organised, and safe throughout each working day.
