Recently, our Head Chef at Wilde Thyme Craig Coupar attended leadership training as a part of his HIT Scotland scholarship at the world-renowned EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland. He learned about leadership theory and behaviour while experiencing first-hand how hospitality is taught at this prestigious school.

Craig said:

"I had the incredible opportunity to connect with fellow professionals from across the hospitality industry, while also experiencing some of the finest Swiss hospitality.

Attending EHL Hospitality Business School was genuinely inspiring. The high standards upheld by both students and staff created an environment where excellence was the norm. The facilities are world class and it was motivating to be surrounded by people who share the same passion and dedication to the industry.

During my time at EHL, I gained invaluable insights and practical tools that will help me shift from team management to effective leadership. We explored key principles of leadership, mindset and behaviour, and had the chance to apply those theories in a real-world context.

I’m excited to bring these new skills and perspectives into my current role. I would like to give a huge thanks to Entier and HIT Scotland for making this fantastic opportunity possible."
