Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials

Last week our events division Wilde Thyme catered at one of Scotland's biggest equestrian events, the Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials. The event ran from the 22nd-25th of August and over the 4 days it drew 45,000 spectators.

Months of preparation led up to the event, with the our team working around the clock to ensure it would be a success. During the build up a refrigerated trailer was delivered to Wilde Thyme, which was used for a dedicated team who focused on prepping the food. Once on-site at Blair Atholl, we catered to over 300 guests daily, serving up 4 days of breakfast buffets, buffet lunches that featured roast and seafood stations, a la carte lunches, afternoon teas, and private dinners.

The effort was immense, and the results were unforgettable! This event highlighted the amazing teamwork and dedication of everyone involved.
