Ride the North 2024- Fundraising for Friends of ANCHOR

Congratulations to Michael Hennessy and Ramsay Braid for completing the Ride the North on Saturday the 24th of August . This year the guys set themselves the challenge of completing the 100 mile route which started and finished in Arbroath.

Ride the North started in 2011 with the aim of challenging cyclists around the North and North East of Scotland. However it is not a race, it's the sociable cycling event of the year. It is both a celebration of cycling and the local area.

The guys smashed their fundraising target of £2000, in total they raised £2020 + £305 in gift aid for Friends of ANCHOR.

Upon completing the event, we spoke to the pair to find out how it went. "It was very challenging as the weather was against us, there was constant wind for about 80% of the ride. In the end we clocked in 100.92 miles. We would like to thank team Entier for the donations we both really appreciate it".

Again, a massive well done to you both and thank you for your efforts this past weekend. It's an incredible achievement.
