The awards, launched in 2004 to recognise, reward and celebrate the exceptionally high degrees of creativity, innovation and excellence in the Scottish hospitality, catering and tourism sectors, have established themselves as the most prestigious accolade for operators all over the country.

The category was open to the top-performing candidates living in Scotland working the event and hospitality industry. As Head chef at Wilde Thyme, Andy was an ideal candidate for this award and was up against three very credible and high calibre talent. After careful consideration from the judges the cream floated to the top and Andy was crowned the winner.
