Scottish Culinary Team prevails at World Culinary Cup 2018

Scottish Culinary Team

The Scottish culinary team has won silver in the hot kitchen section of the world culinary cup 2018 in Luxembourg.

The team made up of 6 members three of which are our very own Orry Shand, Craig Palmer and Rory Taylor.

The competition consisted cooking a three course meal with a 6 hour preparation and 2 hour cooking time, based on a restaurant style service for paying customers in which the judges took random plates to judge on.

The team had a run through practise dinner at the St Margret’s university in Edinburgh last week in preparation for the competition in which Albert Roux attended and gave his opinon and critic.

A well deserved win for the whole team.
